HOLY COVENANT

LesBiGay people may not be legally married in the state of Tennessee. We recognize that love and commitment are the only true requirements for two people who wish to join their lives together. For seven years Stonewall has celebrated that love and commitment through the Holy Covenant service.

SERVICE OF DEATH AND RESURRECTION / MEMORIAL SERVICE

Even in death, our loved ones can be condemned by the unloving words of a pastor who is not affirming of lesbian, gay, bi, and transgendered people. Stonewall's Service of Death and Resurrection/Memorial Service celebrates the life and love of the person who has passed on, honoring his or her dignity as a human being—a child of God.

PASTORAL AND CONGREGATIONAL CARE

Life is difficult. Sometimes we just need someone to talk to about the struggles we face. For those wishing to talk with an ordained minister, our pastor is available for pastoral care and to provide referrals to professional counselors. Stonewall is also building a congregational care program for people who are hospitalized or homebound.

MINISTRIES OF COMPASSION AND MERCY

Many people are hurting and in need of help and support. As Christians we believe our purpose in life is to love our neighbors. Stonewall regularly donates time and resources to those in need. We are working to make positive changes in the lives of people in our community and beyond.
